Olive class archeologists
Today Olive class became archeologists, students from University came along to show us their 'tardis' full of historical artefacts. We were allowed to handle them, but with great care and respect as they were so old (and worth a lot of money!) You can tell by our photos that we had a brilliant time AND the 'tardis' is staying at school next week so that we can explorer some more.
Olive class and Hazel class adventurers!
We all got out to Lenton park this wednesday where we looked for signs of Autumn, exercised our brains through climbing and swinging, learned to play kwik cricket and shot a few hoops of basketball. Most importantly we learned how to stay safe on our adventures outside of class and practiced the 'green cross code'.

We are now Olive!
We have spent the last few weeks settling into our new classroom-finding the toilets-learning to line up and move around the school sensibly and quietly. Ok, we fibbed about the last bit, being quiet is not Olive class's forte- but luckily we have many others! If you look at our photos you can see we have been eager to learn and play in our Olive team.

Discovery garden!
We went to the discovery garden to celebrate international mud day! We changed into our old clothes so that we could get dirty and not ruin our school uniform. We tried to make mud balls, we splashed in the mud and we may have got some mud on the teachers faces too! We had a fantastic morning. We even had hot mud drinks and mud biscuits for snack!

Greed and Power.
This week is our Healthy School Focus Week and we will be learning lots about ways that we can stay fit and healthy. We will be looking at healthy and unhealthy foods and drinks along with new ways to exercise and stay physically and mentally healthy. This week will also include a visit to there Life Education Van which will be paying a visit to Olive Class on Wednesday 8th October. Pictures of this fantastic and exciting opportunity will follow shortly...
So far in Olive Class this term we have learnt a lot about all of the children and all of the staff that will be working in Olive Class this year. We have looked at hobbies, family portraits, favourite foods along with other aspects of our lives. Below is some pictures of the class taking part in various activities such as counting conkers, quiet reading and many more fun activities.
