A World Without Borders
On our visit to The Lahore Lyceum in October 2011, we posed a Big Question in The Box of Possibilities. The question was
'What would a world without borders be like?'. The children were all interviewed and some responded in Urdu, some in Punjabi and some in English. You can see and hear some of their responses below.

Back at Dunkirk....
Madrono Class looked at the same Big Question, 'What would a world without borders be like?'
They explored the question first and responded using their own ideas and opinions and then they compared their thoughts with those from The Lahore Lyceum.

Stop Frame Animation
Cedar Class made a stop-frame animation using the traditional Pakistani story of 'Heer Ranjha' brought to us by Ms Anjum and Ms Sara when they visited in December 2010. Cedar Class were studying different traditional stories from around the world in Literacy.
When we visited Pakistan, Grade 4 from The Lahore Lyceum used Monkey Jam to make an animation of the story of Romulus and Remus. Madrono Class at Dunkirk were doing a topic on The Romans and the film helped them to understand how Rome was founded. Click below to see the film.
