General Information
Reading folders Every Monday please ensure your child's reading folder and diary come to school. On the Monday morning we will work with each child, alternating each week's focus of either bear words or reading as well as changing your child's reading book. This book is a great way for us to communicate with you, so please use this to write in any questions or queries you have. It is also helpful if you can write a short message whenever you read at home with your child! |
I am Miss. Taylor and I am Willow class teacher.
I am looking forward to all the exciting learning that shall be happening in Willow class throughout the year.
This year we are learning all about 'Community'. Exploring what it means- studying our local and wider communities.
I am very excited to get to know all of the children in Willow class and find out what they like! This is something that I will feed into my planning where possible as children love learning about the things that they enjoy!
I have an open door policy so please feel free to pop in and see me if you ever have any questions! I would love for you to come in and see what Willow class have been busy exploring!
Miss. Cresswell is Willow Class TA on Monday and Tuesday.
She runs family cooking every Friday morning as well as being the extended school's co-ordinator for the whole school. She plans fantastic whole school events and has overall responsibility for the Friend's of Dunkirk parent group. You are welcome to come along to this on a wednesday morning!
Welcome to Willow Class!
Class of 2015!
I am Miss. Taylor and I am so excited to be the class teacher of Willow class again this year. I will be working alongside Miss. Creswell and Miss. Sally and we look forward to a very exciting year in Reception.
We have been busy starting our 'All about me' topic which has been a great way of getting to know everyone in our class. We have enjoyed hearing about different individuals in the class who have taken the 'All about me' box home each week and are looking forward to hearing all about your child and your family soon!
We have had lots of fun learning how to write our names, drawing self portraits and creating some personalised bunting which has a drawing by your child of something special to them. We have also been for walks around the local area to see where our school is within the local community.
Miss. Creswell is running her family cooking sessions each Friday morning. Every child will have a slot to cook and we would love to see you there if you are able to come along!
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to come and speak to myself or a member of the team.
Here is to a fabulous and fun year ahead!
