It's Snow Fun!
Banyan used their reward time for some fun in the snow!
Lets Have A Heated Debate!
After the snowball fight we warmed up with a debate about the rights and wrongs of fox hunting with dogs. This debate drew on some of the themes explored in our class book, The Midnight Fox. It was a lively session with strong views expressed on either side of the argument. Well done to the two debating teams, the time keeper and chairperson, who kept order with a very strict gavel! Views were also taken from the audience, after which a vote was taken. The class voted for fox hunting to remain illegal 11 to 8.

Revision Begins
This term Year 6 will be doing their SATS. Alongside the rest of the curriculum, many sessions will be devoted to revision. There will be homework linked to this revision and it would be most helpful if parents/carers could support with this. Please visit Kidz Zone to find a link to useful revision websites such as BBC Bitesize.
