Gurdwara Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji
Thankyou to Dee, Rico and Marco's father for organising a whole school visit to the new Sikh Temple, or Gurdwara, at Norton street on 08/02/12. It was very informative and really brought our studies of Sikhism to life. Being able to ask questions and talk to people of different faiths first hand is the best way of learning about and understanding each other. Thank you to every one who helped make this happen.
Ice Skating
Capital One have again funded a six week course of ice skating and activities at the Nottingham Arena.
Tutors include Mandy Worth, a former Olympic speed skater and the highest qualified volunteer coach in the country.

Visit to the Nottingham Evening Post
On 16th November we visited the Nottingham Evening Post offices to see how newspapers are produced. The children spoke to the crime reporter, the sports reporter as well as a features editor and the Sub Editors. The Post team were very welcoming and spent lots of time with the children answering their questions. They presented each child with a mocked up front page to remember this excellent trip.
IMPS
The Injury Minimisation Programme for Schools session was hosted by the Queens Medical Centre. The class learned about the recovery position and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
